Final CT Assignment - Cube Design

Finally, this semester is nearly to end.
We got a new assignment which is the cube design as our final project.
The cube we do is need to explain ourselves characteristic.
For me?
Haha...actually I also no really know what kind of person am I.
Just ask my friends.
Got the points from them.
I am:
a. Humble
b. Childish
c. Mysterious
d. Punctual
e. Irritable

Well, in my concept, what thing can let me to introduce myself to the others?
Think~Think~Think~
After searched some references from the internet, I got an idea.
A room decoration.
We know a person not just we live together, mix with he or she.
We can know by what he or she will decorate his or her room.

Room, is a very private place to everyone.
For me, yes.
I can let people know more about me through my room decoration.
So, what I want to do is create a mini room to describe who I am.

Sketches
After sketched, I started to do my cube.

My Final Cube

The meaning of the items in my cube to show my characteristic:

-The bed which is used in dark grey and yellow to show I am a humble person. I do not like use the too bright colour on my bed sheet and this can show that I am dislike too hyperbole and publicize.
-The bear toy which is damage to show I am a irritable person. When I was angry, I will pissed-off and ruin my toy.
-The lollipop wallpaper and the family portrait show I am a childish person.
Lollipop is my favorite snacks when I was a child and my parents are the people that I can flighty to.

-The picture on the wall which is dark blue and black show I am mysterious.
To my friends, I like to hide something and do not show them all about me.
-The clock on the wall which is facing my bed and beside my table to show that I like to punctual. When I wake up, I can see the clock more directly and do my things and date with friends on time.

I learn from this assignment which is patiently and carefully.
I need to put more effort to make sure I can success to done it.
The furniture inside is all challenging to me.
I need to patient to finish them all with tender.
If not, I will easy to break my work.

Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia

In front of the Museum
Last Friday, we went to Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia which located in Jalan Lembah Perdana near by KL Bird Park and National Mosque after we visited the KL City Gallery.
The purpose we went there is because of our History Of Art assignment.
Dr.Ray called us to go there for capture the collection that is representative of the entire Islamic world.
And then we need to sketch 1 of the collections into our sketch book and summit it.

When I reached there, it was very quiet.
Few people inside the museum.
The admission fee is RM12 per adult.
With the student card, we get the discount from our admission fee which is RM5 per person.
After we put our bags inside the locker, we go up by lift.

The Hall of Museum
There are a big ceiling on the hall.
It create by the Islamic culture which is many Islam "Jawi" words on it.
There are many architectures:

The Architecture exhibited in Museum
The Architecture exhibited in Museum
Information Board
Besides that, there are many Qur'ans Manuscripts.

From this experience, I learn a lot.
The works which show in the museum record the history and the culture about the Islam.
They are so brilliant and worth remembering history.
I felt so proud cause our country still can restore so many antiques.
All of these can be show to our young generation.
Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia offered me a constantly changing experience with only RM5.
It is deserve.

A Rubber Tapper 's life

Can you imagine that when our cars are using without the tires to move,
we wear the shoes which the bottom base are without made by rubber,
even when we are studying, our best friend eraser no longer play the important role.
the truth behind the rubber making.
the work hard behind the rubber story.
I'm found out by today.

The Rubber Tree
I'm went back to my hometown this weekend.
I'm went to my grandmother's rubber plantations on today early morning.
With my grandmother.

Rubber Plantations
I'm started to go there by motorcycle.
When I reached there,
It is so beautiful view to me.
The trees stand with the average distance each other.
A row a row and a row.
So spectacular~

My grandmother,
she is a rubber tapper.
Since I was a child,
this is her occupation until now.
She almost spend a half of her life in this trade.
Spend a big effort to her farm from long time ago until today.

My grandmother
Now she is 63 years old.
Still able to wake up early which is 4am everyday.
To go for work in the early morning.
I'm admire to her attitude.
For me,
I'm give up for this habit.

Tapping
She said she was be accustomed to this lifestyle.
Early morning go for tapping,
and when 10am,
she can go back home and rest.
10am,
that was the nearly time to wake up for young generation nowadays.
4am wake up,
I think that is the time for them to sleep actually especially for them who are stay up all night.

While resting
Grandmother told me that,
after tapping the rubber trees,
the rubber crush will flow into the plastic cup.
And then they will collect the cup and pour into a big bucket,
and they will send the buckets to the rubber maker to form a rubber piece.
Their salary is get from after they sell the rubber crush.
Now the price for 1kg rubber crush is RM 3++.
Grandmother told me that the price is decrease.
The higher price she sold before is achieved until RM7++.
Compare with now,
it is decreasing.

A very nice day with my grandmother today.
Although there are many mosquito bite me,
but what I learned today is very useful to me.

Every job is meaningful.
Although rubber tapper give a bad impression to society which is very dirty, suffer, smelly...
But can u imagine that when our cars are using without the tires to move,
we wear the shoes which the bottom base are without made by rubber,
even when we are studying, our best friend eraser no longer play the important role.
Our life will become terrible.

Thanks you,
All Rubber Tappers in this world.
